An Unexpected Villain has just been released to Kindle and Kindle Unlimited. This is the last book in the “Unexpected” story arc. Justin and his friends may return in future books.

This is the first illustration on one of my covers using AI. I wanted the villain dressed a little weird and the AI accommodated my desire. Look at the knot on the tie! The face is supposed to be blurry, although in the book the blur would be more pronounced. Artistic license, I suppose.

I’ll be starting on a new series about a young teenager who is impressed into the magical corps in an army similar to what the British did to put sailors on their naval ships in the Napoleonic Wars.

Book Two in the Justin Spede Novels series

An Unexpected Spell was released yesterday to hungry fans worldwide. Here is the blurb:

Justin’s role as the leader of an emerging secret society begins to crumble. Finally, I’ve finished the first book in my latest series. The series name is “The Justin Spede Novels” and the title of the first novel is “An Unexpected Magician. Here is the blurb:
